There Will Be Dragons (and Dogs!) · Last updated October 15, 2026

There Will Be Dragons (and Dogs!) is a free garden game made by Gamemaker Nic for family and friends. This page says what the game knows about you, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: it keeps only what it needs to save your garden, and it never sells, shares or tracks anything.

Who runs the game

Gamemaker Nic, who made the game. You can reach me at hello@therewillbedragonsanddogs.com.

What the game keeps

Why

Only to let you sign in and to save your garden. There is no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind, and the game doesn't use cookies for anything but keeping you signed in.

Who else sees it

Google, which hosts the game and runs its accounts and saves (Firebase). Nobody else. Your information is never sold or shared, and other players can't see your garden or your email.

How long it's kept

Your account and your saved garden are kept until you delete them. Google keeps its server logs for a limited time under its own policies.

Your choices

Kids

The game is for players 13 and up, and it asks for a birth month and year before anyone makes an account. It never keeps the birth date, only whether the player is old enough. If a parent finds that a child under 13 made an account, email me and I'll delete it.

Do Not Track

The game doesn't track you, so a browser's Do Not Track setting changes nothing.

Changes

If this page changes, the new version goes here with a new date at the top, and big changes get a note in the game.
