Thanks for playing! There Will Be Dragons (and Dogs!) is a free game made by Nic for family and friends. By playing, you agree to these simple terms.
It's free
The game costs nothing. There are no purchases, ads or subscriptions.
Accounts
- You need an account to play, and the game is for players 13 and up.
- One account per person. Keep your password to yourself.
- You can delete your account any time from Menu → Settings → Account.
Play nice
Don't try to get into anyone else's account or garden, break the game, or use it to bother other people. An account that does may be turned off.
Your garden
The names you give your pets and gardens are yours. The game saves often, but computers and browsers sometimes lose things, so download a backup or copy a save code now and then.
Changes
The game is a hobby project and will keep changing. Features may come and go, and the game may pause or end someday. If it's ever going away, players will get notice and a way to keep their gardens as a backup file.
No promises
The game is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, Nic isn't responsible for lost gardens or for any damage from using the game.

The game's art, music, writing and code are © 2026 Nic. The fonts are Pixelify Sans and M PLUS Rounded 1c, both under the SIL Open Font License (M PLUS license).
